General information, not professional advice
Kazolt explains e-bike error codes and common repairs in plain English. It's general information to help you understand a problem. It isn't professional repair advice, and it can't see your bike. Error codes and parts differ between brands, models and versions, so always check your bike's own manual, and follow the manufacturer's instructions where they differ from this site.
Safety: work on your bike at your own risk
- E-bikes are heavy and fast, and they carry high-power batteries and wiring. Repairs done wrong can cause crashes, injuries, fires or damage.
- Only do work you feel confident doing. Switch the system off and remove the battery before touching wiring, brakes near the motor, or the wheels.
- Never open, repair or rewire a battery pack, and never cut or splice battery, charging or motor power wires. Those are jobs for a qualified shop.
- Don't ride a bike with brakes, steering or wheels that don't work properly. When a page says to stop riding or see a shop, please do.
- Working on your bike yourself may affect its warranty. Check your warranty terms first.
- Anyone under 18 should do repairs with a parent or guardian's permission and help.
You're responsible for how you use the information on this site and for the work you do on your bike.
Accuracy
We work hard to get things right. Code meanings come from manuals and official brand pages where we can find them, and each code page shows its source and whether it's "from the manual" or "commonly reported". But manuals change, sellers use different versions, and mistakes can happen. If something looks wrong, please tell us.
No warranty and limits on liability
The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including that the information is complete, accurate or suitable for your bike. As far as the law allows, Kazolt isn't liable for any loss, injury or damage that comes from using the site or acting on its information.

Pages link to manuals, brand support pages, YouTube videos and Amazon. We don't control those websites and aren't responsible for their content, products, prices or privacy practices.

Photos from other people are used under free licenses (such as Creative Commons) and credited under each photo and on the credits page. Videos are embedded with YouTube's own player and remain the property of their creators. Please don't copy whole pages of this site. Linking to them is welcome.
